The Pirata Boat Race

18 Jun

Here’s an innovative, yet simple, game from Pirata London. It makes an interesting interaction through Flash and the iPhone, proving that Flash and the iPhone play nice together.

What you do is have up to, I think, four players with an iPhone. Before you play the game be sure to have downloaded the iPhone app, then click on the full screen button below and follow the instructions.

Honestly it’s not fun by your self, so call up some friends and have a boat race.

My Top 10 New Year Resolutions…

…in no particular order, though an iPhone app would be pretty badass.

1. Make an iPhone app
2. Organize better
3. Travel
4. Drink more water
5. Have a weekly “art day” (get the creative juices flowing)
6. Cook more
7. See more live music
8. Prototype more Flash ideas (iPhone app maybe? CS5 needs to come out, dang it)
9. take/post more pics (Flickr/MobileMe watch out for some bandwidth from Ratley)
10. read more (anyone have any good books?)

Mag+, a concept video on the future of digital magazines

17 Dec

I know that the touch touch technology has been around for many years now, but the iPhone, i think, has made it very much mainstream now.

Here’s a interesting concept video from Bonnier R&D on the future of the digital magazine. With the decrease of prices on computers, I think this style/type of technology will be in the majority of houses by 2020, maybe earlier.
